Frequently asked questions

Can a nurse come to my house in Frisco or Plano?

Yes. Kando provides in-home concierge nursing across Frisco, Little Elm, Plano, McKinney, Allen, and North Texas. Grace, a Texas-licensed RN, comes to your residence for post-surgery recovery, post-fall support, new-mother care, and overnight attendance.

What does a concierge nurse do?

A concierge nurse delivers hospital-grade care in your home, one Registered Nurse who plans and provides it. Kando covers post-surgery wound and drain care, vitals and medication management, post-fall oversight, postpartum support, and overnight attendance.

Do you offer post-surgery care at home?

Yes. Kando handles wound and drain care, vital signs, pain and medication management, mobility help, and family teaching for the first 24 to 72 hours after discharge. Same-day post-discharge visits are often available across DFW.

Is overnight or 24/7 nursing available?

Yes. Kando offers overnight blocks of 8 to 12 hours and a 24/7 on-call retainer, with a single Registered Nurse for continuity, useful after surgery, during late-stage chronic illness, or simply for peace of mind.

Do you provide postpartum or new-mother care?

Yes. In-home postpartum care includes newborn vitals, feeding support, perineal care, mental-health screening, and quiet help while you rest, available as day visits or overnight across Frisco and North Texas.

How much does concierge nursing cost?

Kando is private-pay; hourly, daily, and retainer rates are quoted per family after a free consultation. HSA and FSA funds are accepted, and superbills are provided on request for self-submitted reimbursement.
